i really dont know anything about offsets and fitting tires to rims so i need some help. ive narrowed my search down to either 2 crave no. 1 rims 20x8.5 +40 offset or tsw willow rims 20x8.5 +40 offset. will either of these fit ok? if i plan on putting eibachs on will i still be ok. also i dont really know what tire sizes would be the best. if you guys could help me out that would be sweet :bigthumb:

oh and i was also wondering how much of a difference there is between luxury and performance rims? does it make a differnece if the car is just my daily driver?

A good starting point is the sticky at the top of the page. Long story short, either of those rims should fit no problem. Tire width may cause you to rub if you go crazy with it. For these, I wouldn't go any wider than 255 with that offset.

Not that my opinion counts, but between the two, the willows win hands down. Those 2craves are just 2gaudy.

:lolling: Thanks folks, I'll be here all week.

i agree on the willow being alot better but it was just the price that had me think twice but im pretty positive im going with the willows. now you said i wont rub as long as i dont go to crazy with the width. if i went 10 in in the rear do you think that would cause some issues cuz i think it might? also im just curious, how much do you think my mpg would drop by putting 20s on when im getting 31 highway right now?

People have gone wide, I'm not sure what offset they are running, but I know they have gotten it to work.

I believe rim weight and mpg is negligible at cruising speeds. Of course the wider your tires the more your mpg will suffer, but if you are keeping it reasonably close to stock tire width, then Its going to still be the frequent accelerations (stop and go) that kill your mpg. I would expect it to go down a few mpg since you have to get up to speed... but once they're spun up and you're maintaining a constant velocity, you likely won't see much of a difference.
