Hello everybody! I recently decidied I was gonna change out the factory Bose sub. So I went out and bought a 12 inch rockford fosgate T1 Competition series, a 2009 rockford fosgate t10001db amp, rockford fosgate 10 farad hybrid capcitor, All the wiring. All the tools. I also bought a MTX REQ for the use of the line out converter. Only thing is Ive never done one of these installs. Well I called myself getting out yestarday and running the amp wire after a failed atemp buy a local garage. As a mater of fact they ran the wire under the car so i noticed the wire was starting to hang so i decided i was gonna go out there and pull the wire back. So i did. After looking for a hole or groomet like on the tech pages I coulding find any of the holes to run the wire through. I kinda want to do this process because i need to learn this process because i dont want to running to the custom shop everytime i want something done. So please can anybody guide me in the right direction?

I have done a few installs like this in the past. I think your biggest challenge would be to tap in to the stock amp to wire the hi/lo converter and the remote wire. Not sure if you have found a wire diagram for the stock bose amp, but that would be key to getting this done. As far as running the wires it should not be to bad you only have to run one wire from the front to the back of the car and that's the power wire. Hopefully like most cars with a stock system like this the amp is most times pretty close to the sub so that would make running the wires pretty easy far as the hi/lo and the remote. I do know some cars also would have the stock amp up front by the passenger side. g/l let us know how it goes
