you may have skipped a tooth, timing is probably off.
did you have it at top dead center when you began?

i usually just go vacuum line by vacuum line, checking them one by one.they crack or split somtimes where they connect. thats somthing to look for for sure.

vacuum leak is the most likely culprit. If your buddy was elbow deep in your engine bay, then it's likely he knocked a hose connection loose, especially if they are old, damaged, or already loose. Squeeze each hose all the way up and down, and check every connector. keep us posted on how this works for you!

Miami, FL? I'm guessing here, not trying to be an @$$:

I'm studying auto mechanic in a school
I check every hose and none one came bad just two hose from the fuel filter to the fuel rail when I squeeze those it
release fuel from one side and I test the injector and my number 4 is clogged I think
I test it with a voltmeter on resistance and it pass 1.00 all others where at 0.39 ( number 1) - 0.54(number 2) 0.89(number 3) In school they teach me that it doesn't supposed to pass 1.00 and if they do is because is clogged

And my throtlle body is a little dirty but i don't think is that maybe

When I play with the distributor to advance it or delayed it change a bit but start with the same s***
it drops the rev each 5 sec

I think I just found out it was the MAF sensor cause when I disconnect it runs good but as soon as I connect it shut down quickly or start to missfire and drops the idle
