I guess it seems obvious but you may want to try your fuses. I used to have a Prelude that when (if?) the running lights went out, so did the cluster gauge lights. It was specifically designed as a warning to let you know about the problem.

Thanks, and I already tried that... sometimes the stupid things are what we overlook but this time I've checked everything I can think of.. a friend said I may have fried a wire or something, I was hooking up a gauge today useing the little connector you hook onto a fuse, but got no where near ANY of the lights fuses... To be more specific about whats going on, cluster, ambers, tail lights don't work, blinkers, headlights, brake lights, and rev. lights all do, the headlights take a bit before they go down now too.. if that points out anything to anyone at this point its just..

I had the same problem and just fixed it today. Find the fuse for the lights and take it out...then use a small flat screwdriver, bend the prongs inward so they make better contact on the fuse. This is what was wrong with mine. The people that had the car before me had a cell phone installed and the installer used one of those fuse adapters to get power...so when I took it out the prongs were spread out and didn't make a good conection. I hope this will fix yours cause I spent days of troubleshooting with the FSM and a Fluke meter. Good luck!

the turn signal switch to turn the lights on and off could be worn to where its not making contact. if all else fails you might need a new switch.

Can anyone tell me where ALL the relays are in this system... I need a FULL FSM so I don't know if I know where they ALL are... Thanks... also, how do you take off the switch on the dash, the knob that operates the parking lights/headlights..

The running light/headlight stalk is removed by taking off the steering column cover...then the stalk is removed by unpluging the two harnesses and the two screws...then it just slides out
