Hello Im looking to buy a 1992 240sx 5 spd in great condition body wise and interior, its just got one kinda scary engine problem. It is misfiring and has a rough idle....? Now through research Ive found that it could be a blown cylinder or ( dear god hopefully!!!) a bad fuel injector. Im posting this in hopes of fast and speedy advice/ answers/ knowledge, so please anything you know or think it could be let me know! Thanks

Without testing, there's no way any of us can know what's wrong.

Could be a completely shagged motor, could be a bad MAF, failed injector, ignition problem, cam timing... the list goes on all day.

Don't ever buy a car "in a hurry". If the seller wants to sell, he'll let you take it to a mechanic for a full analysis. If not, tell him to pound sand.

I've had 3 240sx's. I've been building cars for 25 years... My point is, misfiring / rough idle can have dozens of different causes.
