Need help! Fan in dashboard won't go off on QX4

Hi, I am new to Nico Club and just discovered it. Hopefully I am posting this question to the right spot. A few weeks ago my dashboard fan refused to turn off. At the same time my speedometer stopped working. Someone told me I need to replace a part. Does anybody have any experience / answer to this problem?

Hi Steve! Welcome to NICOClub!

I'm going to move this thread to the Pathfinder/QX4 forum to help get you a better response.

My first guess would be that you should check your fuses and also check your relays. Unfortunately, I didn't work on my QX4 a lot when I had it though, so i'm not going to be of much help. Hopefully someone here can chime in and give a more detailed response.

Try cleaning the climate control sensor and put the auto control unit in self-diagnostic mode - follow the procedure on page HA-43 and see what happens.

By dashboard fan -- are you speaking of the AAC fan?

The fan module can fail and cause this -------- is the display working correctly?


Don't know why this would have anything to do with the speedometer -- ???
