so my problem is that during initial startup the injectors dont prime to start... but if i turn ignition to the on position and take a test light and ground each injector its starts up fine and stays runnin with no problems. i thought it might be an ecu prob but i swapped ecu's and it still does not work. i check all visible grounds and everything looks like it is hooked up correctly. i am using r/c engineering injectors which was stated when i purchased that they were high inpedence so i dont need resisters but if i was told incorrectly what would happen if the injectors were low inpedence.. thanx

im not quite sure what you mean by "injectors dont prime" because the fuel pump primes the injectors when you turn on the key. secondly if you had low impedance injectors you would have fried your ecm the first time you turned the key. which may or may not be the case here. it doesnt make sense that you can ground the injectors and it starts. unless you have a bad distributor and its not sending the correct signals to the ecm during cranking. if you have a meter just ohm out the injectors and they should be 10-12 ohms. that will tell you that you have the correct injectors. hope this helps

well when i turn the key to start the motor. the injectors arent opening to send fuel like they should... until i ground them out. when i do so u can hear them click which means they open then i can start it and it runs fine
