as the title says.. i'm not really sure the difference between all season tires and summer/winter tires... i'm thinking about getting new rims and want to put on all season tires.. or whichever tires preferrably better... can anyone explain the difference and maybe suggest a decent brand and/or type of tires... thanks...

Not trying to be an a**, but couldn't you just google the difference?

Though the difference would be tread pattern, compound, temperature, etc...

Summer tires are designed to be used in warmer temperatures - they provide superior grip and traction compared to their a/s counterparts. However, you can't use summer tires in colder weather as they will not grip the road as well, and they will have little to no traction in snow and such.

If you are in an area where its 60 or above for the most part, id get summer tires.
