Hey Guys! My name is Henry and this is my first ever post! In 2022 I started automotive school and with grants I decided to pick up a 1992 300zx 2+2 Manual with a T-Top!, It had a crank no start condition so I decided I wanted to restore the car. I basically bought a bunch of new parts for I will make a list further down in the post. But after I installed all the parts and tried to start it i was back at square one but now a more consistent crank no start. The parts that I bought for it were
1. New wiring harness from Z1 motor sport with new style injectors connectors and new style CAS connector
2. new CAS
3. New OEM spec Injectors, ignition coil packs, and NGK spark plugs
4. Light-weight flywheel and clutch kit from Action clutch, short Throw Shifter from Z1, and a new LuK slave cylinder.
5. New Idle Air hose set, PCV Hose Set, and Brake Booster hose set, and Coolant temperature sensor.
6. TB gaskets, Plenum Gasket, Fuel rail seals, Valve Cover Gaskets, Real main seal, and evap gaskets.
7. TT Rebuilt power steering pump
8. New OEM Spec Fuel Pump, fuel lines, fuel filter, and vacuum lines
9. New Neutral Safety Switch (Realized when putting the trans back in that one of the wires were cut)
10. New Ignition Tumbler
11. New fuses, Starter Relay and Fuel pump relay
12. New oil, K&N Oil filter, and Red Line MT transmission fluid
After I Installed all these parts and retimed the Engine(Followed the FSM step by step even double checked) The engine cranks, when my dad puts starting fluid into the TB it sounds like there is detonation and compression but nothing when we stop spraying the starting fluid, everything seems to be in check but there is no fuel going into the lines, I've had the car sitting for a couple months because I've been stumped on this issue :wtf2: , i even filled the tank up with new premium gas from chevron and when we check the fuel lines after a couple of times trying to crank they're dry not a single drop, could it be that the hard fuel lines are clogged?? I know there's fuel pressure building because of the vacuum that gets released when i take the gas cap off, from the research I have done I'm thinking it might be due to maybe the FPCU? I'm really stumped and I'm losing faith but I want to get this car up and running she's a old girl but I know I can get her up and running, I also have another issue, when I first got the car I would be able to put the car into DIAG mode through the ECU but now the ECU wont go into that mode anymore not even through the double pin method through the OBD port which was really odd because it as doing before with no issue, I Was getting a code 55 but then it switched to 11 so that's why I decided to change the CAS out, could all this be maybe faulty ECU  ? Any help will be appreciated and greatly welcomed again I really want to get this old girl running so I'm praying posting this will lead me to resolving this issue!!!

Is the fuel filter installed in the right direction? Most of them have a check valve, they'll completely block the line if installed backward.

How did you get a TT PS pump to fit your NA engine? They are different and have different mount, and longer with extra ports for the HICAS system in the TT engine models.
(Unless they sold you one from 95-96 TT model which have electric HICAS)

Go back to the basics, and confirm:
1)Get a fuel pressure gauge after the filter and should be 43ish psi while cranking.
2)check for spark, may need a spark plug lead and ground the plug, have someone crank the engine.
3)Are you sure all the connections in the new harness are pressed together tight and locked. Especially the one near the fuse box of the engine bay, ptu and the blue ecu connector, don't just rely on the 10mm head bolt. Are all 3 ground points of the hardness good and tight.

Sorry for the late response, I took a vacation and just got back a couple of days ago,
Yea it looks like he did sell me a 95-96TT PS pump, it looks like what Z1 motorsports has on their website,
I just checked the fuel pressure after the Filter and it reads 0, I know even when I turn the key to ignition that it should build pressure due to the pump priming, when I do turn the key I hear the pump clicking so I know its working(right?), I checked all the connectors to make sure they are connected, the PTU, the 2 connectors next to the fuse box, the three grounds(the 2 near the back of the plenum and the one on the fuse box), I unplugged and replugged the ECU first hand squeezed down and then screwed down with the 10mm, I have the fuel filter on correctly the arrow that it has on it is going toward the injectors, the only thing that I have not checked is for spark, but the 0 psi after cranking 2 times is a big red flag for me rn. going to attach pics if possible

Not sure where I should be looking next im still thinking the lines might be clogged or again the FPCU? Again any help will be greatly appreciated I will be looking for replies daily!

The fuel pump should whir and not click, and it definitely won't start with zero fuel pressure. If it's zero on both sides of the filter then make sure the pump has power and jump ground straight to the low side of the pump to check the FPCM. If that makes the pump spin then the FPCM or FPCM ground is causing your issue, if not then the pump itself has a problem.
