Hello everyone!

As you can see I'm new to this forum. I have recently got a 1994 Nissan pickup truck. It is a King Cab, 2 wheel drive, and has a 4 banger engine. It does great on the mileage but the AC hasn't worked since I got it.

When I say it doesn't work I mean it doesn't blow cold; it blows just fine it just doesn't get cold at all. I recharged it right after I got the truck and it went cold for a few hours and then went right back to how it was.

I'm sure this is a simple one but I'm completely stupid when it comes to the AC. If anyone has any ideas of what this could be your help is greatly appreciated

A professional vauums down and weighs the charge, the refills PRECISELY to check pressures and look for leaks with a Freon Sniffer and U/V dye and light.

Take it to any professional AC repair facility for a diagnosis.

You are dealing with $2,000 worth of parts which have a finite life if never maintained and serviced frequently.

It could be a bad relay. Find a FSM and look up a flow chart for the AC system.

Edit: Never mind. I didn't read the part about it working for a few hours. Yes, you probably do have a leak.
