ive been looking at a 1990 s13 for about a month now and i went to look at it yestarday and its looking pretty good. the dash and center console are out of the car, the drive shaft needs to be shortened by an inch, the exaust needs some work, and the wiring harness needs to be hooked up maybe even need to get a wiring specialists harness to make it easier. it has an rb20det swap and a ka trans with a rb bell housing. it has a garret turbo, enkies rims, coilovers, i cant remeber the rearend but i have pictures and ill include the conversation. hes giving me everything i need to finish up the car he just doesnt have the time and money to finish it up because of college and hes wanting to get rid of it for 4k. im selling my truck for 6k so i will have more than enough to finish it up. i just need to know if its a good buy or if its even worth it. its about an hour drive from were im at and im willing to do all the work to finish it.

heres the link for all the info he has given me for the car and all the pics i have of the car - https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... sp=sharing

You know how the saying goes "You don't get back what you put into it"? For example spend $20k building an s13 and you will be lucky to sell it for $10k.

There should be an even bigger penalty for quitting in the middle of a project like that. I'm thinking this car is worth $2500. There will be many surprises, I bet.

Compression test
check turbo shaft play
inventory parts included & make sure the expensive stuff is there

Good luck! For $4000-$5000 you can get a full interior driving running SR swap here in NY - check out eBay and Facebook Groups.

What's your location? I have a 1990 240SXSE hatchback with 104,000 miles and for $4000 YOU CAN HAVE IT! Automatic and airconditioned. Just passed California SMOG with flying colors, "Cleanest car I have SMOGGED" per the technician and just reregistered. Fly to California abd drive it home or have me drive to wherever you are and pay my airplane back home.

Yeh I would rather get one that's much nicer and needed less work but u can't go and get one that's more than 150 miles away from me and I'm not to bothered with selling it if were to get it because I would never ever ever sell it. Those cars are like my dream car. There was a red one that was stock and everything was new on it but it was sold maybe a month ago

Sorry that's way way way to far away. I'm in Cushing Oklahoma and I cant go any were farther than 150 miles away for one. Plus I'm kind of looking for one that has an engine swap and manual but I can deal with automatic

Mike, have you put up a for sale ad for your S13?

If so, link me - I can vouch for you as a seller.

Thanks sir!

Why can you only go 150 miles away?
I'd much rather travel a little farther to get a fully sorted car like blkvrtswp mentioned.
