I was thinking this when you bought your M3! Tell me the secret man!!!AZ89two4Tsx wrote:How do you have enough money to afford this when you are 18?
I would take the car to the track once or twice a year. and the car will mostly be driven on the weekends as I would most likely have another car to drive during the week.Philipio wrote:Do you want a track car or something you can drive around wherever? The Lotus isn't exactly what I'd call a daily driver.
Between working 115 hours on a 2 week paycheck and flipping cars the money adds up. Made $4100 on my last m3 after all said and done. Also that sale didn't even take 2 months.AZ89two4Tsx wrote:How do you have enough money to afford this when you are 18?
You think so? Honestly I don't care cause I work all the time anyways and only see my close friendskrash wrote:I was thinking this when you bought your M3! Tell me the secret man!!!
Also, I would go for the exige, just for the awesome factor. Chicks won't like it though

Personally I'd go with the Cayman S over the Exige due to the comfort. The Exige will be cheaper to operate but it's impractical as a DD. Too small, too cramped, poor rear visibility. Far better on the track than road. The Cayman S is a little larger, more comfortable, closer to a real dual purpose sports car. Repairs will be expensive. Both cars should be equally fun on the track.Watermelonwarrior wrote:So I sold my 2003 M3 back in Feb and im currently driving a 02 M3 I bought with my brother which is currently for sale locally. Iv been looking to get a Cayman S for awhile now and started getting interested in the 06 Lotus Exige. Cars have the same 0-60 and 1/4 mile times but the lotus will be more fun on the track.
What are your thoughts on the two cars and which would you choose and why?
Heres a picture of the said Lotus and a picture of my M3.
Lotus has 5k Miles and I will probably get for around 32k and in that price range I can get a 2006 Cayman S with around 20-40k miles.
Yea, I'd think for a girl (the general population, not the awesome ones on nico ) as far as the ride goes Exige = Drift 240, i.e.: Wheres the carpet, why are the seats so uncomfortable, gosh the ride is so bumpy.Watermelonwarrior wrote:You think so? I sat in an Exige once. 5 minutes in, 5 minutes out.
I have a good friend who has a dark green Exige S. Sexy car, but he uses it strictly as track day car. Not a DD, and he trailers it because it holds pretty much nothing, and the ride is too stiff to be comfortable on a long trip.sx moneypit wrote:
That's cause they jack up their prices to you and your stupid f***ing friends. This guy actually works Nala. He doesn't do illegal s*** and his parents don't seem to buy him everything.naladude911 wrote:I know kids in my grade who have 5 digits in their accounts from selling.
I smell accusations because you're jealous. The kid works hard and earns his money, you live off your parents. Quit your b****ing.naladude911 wrote:Your the same age as me (18 in 3 weeks) and you can afford these cars? Are you going to college? I smell drug money.
