Need help! completley stumped

ok so i have a 96 altima. i recently had my serpentine belt and ac belt replaced by a mechanic who was less than competent, and ALL HELL broke loose. first and last time i ever bring my car to any garage but my own. it may be a coincidence but immediately after leaving i thought the belts were slipping because my rpms wuld drop randomly causing the car to kind of shudder. after tightening and loosening the belts there was no change so i scanned the car and found my MAF was within operation but i was running lean. the car is almost a "safe mode" that wont let it go over 2k rpms. i replaced the MAF anyway out of desperation and nothing changed. the engine acts as if its misfiring but im pretty sure thats not the problem. does anyone have any ideas???

You're running the KA24DE in the 96... I would check over here in the KA engine forum - ka24e-ka24de-forum.html
There aren't too many KA altima guys here. Try searching first and then post your question if you can't find anything. Good luck!
