woooooow so let me get this straight you have a ca18det from 1988 in your car (what year 240sx), the turbo blow the t-25 flange gasket. you replaced the gasket so you saw the gasket and it was certainly blown right? You put it back together and no power so you jumped it and it wont turn over.
THEN you pulled it behind something to XXMPH and dumped the clutch in 1st and 2nd and either way the tires lock up!
Im guessing someone already told you that it seems like the engine is locked up... and you are coming here to verify that this advice could be correct.
My questions to you are:i have blown plenty of those gaskets and its never been Un-Driveable. Even with no gasket I wouldnt hesitate to drive the car home to fix. Are you sure thats what was making all that noise? Im assuming you have a T-25 manifold.
What caused the gasket to blow. you say the engine temp was rising? Did it peg the red? sounds like it was overheating. A blown turbogasket shouldnt cause that normally... But a blown headgasket is more likely. its also more likely that the headgasket is where all the noise was coming from.
Were you the one who actually was driving the vehicle? You should check the coolant level.
If you grab the right sized socked you should be able to turn the engine over by hand with just a ratchet, use the balancer bolt but dont use too much leverage, if its very hard to turn thats not a normal sign. pull your plugs and look for abnormalities. you probably did this already, but if you didnt... did you remove the engine from the vehicle to do the gasket?
its like a mini rb a friend once said, the engine seems to be quite rare and ive only seen a few.
