i was on my way to cali when the car stopped catching gear, its an automatic btwi pull over and look under the car and theres a hose busted and transmission fluid everywherei quick fix the hose with a clamp but now my car wont startbatteries dead and wont hold charge so i buy a new batteryin the process of switching batteries, the positive terminal break being that it was heavily corrodedi buy a new terminal, cut the wire, peel back the insulation and put on the new terminali also put that lil connector that connects to the red connector with the small wiresnot sure what thats called thoughhook everything up to the battery posts and nothing, i think its that connector

help with both problems please?

i know the car has to be on for me to check the transmission fluid level with the dipstickthen put some more in through the dipstick hole, if it still wont move, any suggestions?

Make sure that wire is on right/replaced and if the battery still won't give any juice to the car or dies quick I'm guessing it could be your alternator. If you can get it checked do so. I'm pretty sure I know what parts you are talking about, but pics would help.

That would be my assumption, hopefully replacing the fluid now that you addressed the ruptured line should fix the not going into gear problem, but that should be unrelated to the not getting any juice issue.

Did you check transmission fluid level with car running?(That's how you are suppose to do it.)

Sounds like you need more fluid or Maybe you killed your transmission/torque converter.
