I wouldn't worry about buying on yet. Learn as much as you can before spending your hard earned money.

If you don't know already, you'll be told a million times on here.. search before you ask.

As for my I imported my own motors.

Many of the sponsors here sell motorsets. Generally the SR will only come with a start up warrenty, almost no one will warrenty a motor for an extended period of time, there are too many things you can do to a motor to blow it up, especially when its turbocharged. Though all of the sponsors on here have good reputations and will stand behind thier products.

I agree with HenryG, Learn everything you can about the motor, the swap, and dont be afraid to ask questions... just make sure you search first, we all know how bad the search works but it suprises everyone once in a while.

Also a good idea... don't jump in head first. Get an idea of what you want out of your car and buy parts accordingly, i.e. it makes no sense to throw a big turbo on your car because you want to have the fastest ride, especially if its a street car. You'll find its all about how everything works together, so choose your mods accordingly.

And make sure you know what your getting into. Depending on how far you go with your project, there could be a lot of tuning in your future. These cars aren't honda's. You cant throw on an exhaust and an intake crank the boost up and go racing, bad things will happen . So learn all you can and hey...Welcome to NICO!!!
