removed the fan blower and took it to autozone to have it checked they couldn't so i tested it at home with two wires from the battery. did not work. autozone has the motor made a siemans and advertised as brand new not rebuilt for $96. Called joe as usual and their part was 175 w/sIs there that big a difference in the blower motor?

We know new oem motors last 10 years minimum! We know many Autozone parts don't make it a year and many last longer.

A few hours labor is worth what? Guess it depends on how many one has to change.

But then again remember dealers double price [less 25% from Joe].

We use nothing from Azone or other such people due to bad previous experiences.........we have to warranty out labor/parts for a year.

thanks tech,elwesso has one that works. i will only keephe car another year or so, so i may go that route.By the way i was down near your area friday and tried to get schedule a time at T3 but alas they were expecting to to be on a tight schedule. maybe next time

Get the armature rebuilt at a reputable electric motor shop.
