are you willing to pull the engine? you can probably acheive that number on stock internals, but I'd be careful. most people tell me the weak link in the ka are the pistons, so get a set of those, while the motor is out get it honed/decked/all that good stuff.
get head worked and decked, valve seals/etc. some 264/264 cams may be worth it, too.
you'll also need injectors and a tune, along with the turbo obviously.
engine/head work: ~$300-400 (including an overbore, i'd recommend that, along with the decking/honing block and the headwork)pistons: ~$500cams: $350 (optional but recommended)turbo: can range in price, new/used/etc....$300-$1000 (upper end like a gt28 or something)injectors: ~$300 (for 550s)management: enthalpy tune = ace lol, $500-$600
on the absolute low end, that makes $2250 and $3150 on the high end of my estimates. keep in mind this does NOT include rods (which i would do as well), rod bearings, arp studs (i'd recommend) gaskets, a CLUTCH (can be pricey depending on what it's capable of holding).
it can be done for $4000, but if you get close to being overbudget - never EVER EVER cheap out on something, do it right. it's not worth saving a few pennies now and having to drop another grand or more on whatever else that breaks because you skipped/cheaped out on something.
