It's the one just under the exhaust manifold closest to the radiator. You should be able to remove it from below the car.

Generally the forem has not praised the operation of the Bosch O2 sensors. Most forem people
say to use OEM

I have always had good luck with Bosch o2 sensors.............one of my 3 SC300 have Bosch o2 sensors that so far has a tad over 80k miles on the bosch o2 and there has not been a single issue.

I'm sorry but I think 'Nutria' got confused between the Bosch spark plugs and O2 sensors. Yes, the Bosch spark plugs are known to cause problems with Nissan/Infiniti engine, especially in the Q45/M45 cars (VH and VK engine). However, the Bosch O2 sensors are typically the OEM sensors used in Nissan/ Infiniti cars. The O2 sensors I replaced in my 99 I30 and 97 Q45 are both made by Bosch (Japan, not USA).

The front left and right O2 sensors for the the 97 Maxima have the same part number and with 3-wire connector. The Rear O2 sensor mounted downstream of the Main Cat is different and has a 4-wire connector. And yes the Bosch part number you have is correct. I buy NGK/NTK O2 sensor from NGK.com, a.k.a. "sparkplugs.com" or from Amazon. The price is much more reasonable, especially from Amazon.
