Need help attn q45 tech, elwesso

i have a 92 q45 with 194000 miles. recently it has began to stutter and buck periodically. i changed the fuel filter and the problem remained. now, when i start the car it revs slightly then the rpm's go to zero. on the next start it idles smoothly. i have n oticed that in the mornings when it is cool the car acts fine., there is good acceleration and power, but in the afternoons when i press the gas the car wants to stall and i have to feather it to keep going. I have read many posts and believed the problem was the MAF but i cleaned and gresed the connections and have the same problem. Please help.

Pull the FPCU and look at the connector pins for burnt spots. It's easy to check.

Yeah your looking at fuel pump problems right now! Dont bother confirming it with fuel pressure gauges and such, just do it...

Fuel pump is an easy job and is the first right to Q45 ownership
