I was changing my rear brake pads and installing poly bushings on my sway bar yesterday...and everything decided to go wrong at the same time

long story short, (and 12 hours later ) the holes where the bolts for the rear sway bar bracket go are fubared, and I need to know what size or pitch (?) they are in order to try to repair them.

I've never done this before and looked online..I think I'll try to chase the threads 1st and if not then drill the hole out and use some heli coils, but I still need to know the size!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Bingo. 10mm by 1.25

That means the thread repair kit you need is M10 X 1.5, in case anyone has the same problem and comes upon this thread. Had to go to the parts store until I could match it. And it costs $30, what a waste

Thank you sir!
