Sorry if I need to make an introduction I just made my account since I just purchased this G35 and it is my first.. my name is Dylan and I hope to be of help to anybody on the form in the future.

To start I've already Googled to try to find an answer for this problem and I have not found one.

I came home from work parked my car went upstairs and 30 minutes later the horn magically starts going off by itself, nobody was around the car... so I disconnect the battery and then remove the wires going to the horn, I reconnect the battery and try to start the car the headlights come on automatically even though they're in the off position along with the fans on the radiator. I assumed the horns were required to be plugged in for the alarm system so I repeat the process and now my headlights are on the radiator fans on and car still won't start... Super confused on this one..

I got to get this fixed because I have to be at work tomorrow please any insight would be much appreciated, thank you

:welcome: to NICO!

Very interesting. The lights sound like something with the alarm, but the fans have me completely confused.

Check your battery voltage - the G does weird stuff when it's experiencing low voltage. When my wife's G was only a few months old, she was at a friend's house and looked outside to see that there was only one headlight on. The battery was low and it wouldn't start. She called roadside assistance, and they jump started it. The dealership eventually replaced the battery under warranty.

Battery isn't dry and I put it on the charger, after 1 min it said fully charged... idk, I'll be buying a new battery Friday, let's hope that's the issue.

Any aftermarket parts, specifically electrical, installed? Stereo equipment, perhaps?

Has any maintenance been done recently?

Did you have the vehicle inspected by an Infiniti dealer prior to purchase and have them run the VIN number for a vehicle history?
