here's my problem, today when I try to start my car, I noticed the check engine light came on, then right after I warmed up the car, the VDC off and SLIP came on and I could not go pass 1500 rpm, and stays like that.. then I tried to shut it off for a min or two, restarting it, at first it would rev up, but after about 5 second, there would be a slight drop of rpm in idle to about 600 then the lights would come on again and I couldn't rev over 1500 rpm again....but what makes it funny is, if I have the a/c on the whole time, this would not happen and car run just normal....pls inform with any suggestion before I have to take it to a mech.....thanks

Sounds like youre running a wheel tire combo that is 3% larger than stock. but the A/C fixes it, thats incredibly strange. take it in thats all i can say

right now your car thinks the wheels are spinning faster than they should (Slip). you can turn off your traction control every time you get in the car or change your tires. tires1010.com has an invaluable tire size calculator. Compare stock with your new specs. i just barely got past 3% and my traction control switched on. I'm running on 2% larger than stock for my winter tires and haven't had any problems. The set up you have now means that your ABS will not work. so i definitely recommend changing them.

The Air Conditioning issue is really confusing. and probably a sign of more wiring issues to come. good luck

hye guys, a brief update on my progress.. and also need some opinion. I just pulled the code from the ECU, and it came out with freezeframe code p1122 which is engine throttle control. as I go throught the manual, I notice if the sensor fail to operate properly, all the MIL lights will come on and the ecu will take control and put the car in a safe mode which the throttle body would open only 5 degree.( I think that explain why I can only get to 1500 rpm) I also pulled a p1615 pending code, but I can't find the code in the manual, so I have no idea what it is, but if it is a pending code, then I figure is might be cause by the P1122 inoperable. anyway, my question is, should I go ahead and change the throttle body or what other testes should I run b4 doing it???thanks for the time
