My situation: Had the ca up and running for about 5-6 months now, idles great, runs smooth, and pulls hard. Just today I tried to start it and it started up but ran horribly, smoking white (fuel smells like raw gas) pull the plugs they are all black and wet with fuel. clean them up and install them, it idles for a second then almost dies and white smoke everywhere. so I suspect coil packs maybe and replace them with new ones ( around $220 from O'Reillys) same damn thing happends. I try to drive and it just smokes away but runs half decent when on boost.

My question: Im running standard everything except a arc smic, and a walboro 255 pump. Is this my stock FPR going out? or what. I've checked the ECU and no codes. also I can rev past 2.5k rpm so its not the maf.

P.S. This is my daily driver, I need it running ASAP

thanks soo much.

Jake, even though I don't think it's your FPR, remove the vaccum from it and see what happens. Next, double check all connections and grounds. Be wary of the water temperature sensor as well, but that normally gives you a code 13. SInce the plugs are wet with fuel, I'll advise you to also check the connections of your ignitor, alternator plugs, and any work that you've done. Your fix is something very simple because it seems as if you're losing spark, battery power, or have ignition interruptions. Let me know how this goes.............
