Broke down and went and bought a red top optima battery.Car fired right up. Idles fine. Still tryign to figure out the SAFC. What has me concerned is that knock is 148 at idle and I took my rpms a little higher and it went to 250-300.Was around 3,000rpm. I know that the knock sensor isn't great but should I be concerned? This was while my car is off the ground under no load. Also need help on setting dec air. Anyone got a link to help? I don't have a wideband.Need to get my car driveable so I can get to a dyno.

on the safc II there might be a calibration feature for the knock sensor.

some poeple i know really pay attention to the knock and some dont

as for the dec. air

taken from a post i made in a different thread "when the car is completely cool start it up. have the safc mointoring throttle %, air flow, and rpms. have the engine at 1000rpms and write down the air flow. then have the engine at 2000rpms and write down the throttle % and air flow.

now go to the dec. air settings. the THR setting is the throttle % you documented at 2000rpms. the NE1 setting is the air flow you had at 1000rpms. the NE2 setting is the air flow you had at 2000rpms. this will get you very close to the settings you need. may not be perfect but very close. this will allow you to run an atmospheric bov without stumbling between gears"

Thanx structure. Also another question is shouldn't the scale move constantly?Mine goes to it's peak rpm and stays there. It doesn't reset until I exit out and go back in...

I got sunburned today.I take off on my drive and it rains.Coem back home and i'm in the middle of a T-storm.Been storming nonstop for past 2hrs. Got a little bit of fuel issue. But the thign is a rocket. Wastegate screams and you can just barely hear the bov.Had a mustang F*** with me...That didn't last long. Had soem real bad fuel issues earlier but now that it's gettign broken in it's running smoother.Buried my tach in no time.Haven't taken it above 5k yet.
