Well I was backing out of my driveway and noticed a real high pitch coming from the transmission/driveshaft area. I looked down towards the shifter( i didnt have the boot or anything on so i could see all the way through) and notice that the bolts at the end of the driveshaft are sittin there grinding against the transmission. I didnt take the driveshaft out when puttin the motor in. Anyone got any ideas or help. thanks

Are the bolts grinding agains the transmission itself or the cover that plugs on the transmission (roundish shape looks like a cup), if it is grinding on the cover, you can tap the cover out and either install the one from your Ka transmission and if you don't have one, then don't worry about much, but it would be nice to have it to keep any dust away from the rear transmission seal

drop the driveshaft.knock the dust cover off.optionally, install KA dust cover.reinstall driveshaft.

there's no way around it.you could try cutting around the driveshaft but you're likely going to have a hard time getting anything sharp and brute force enouth to cut it in there as it'd not fit against the driveshaft.
