NEED HELP!! all advice will be greatly appriated

workin on gutting my J30...fuse box and wires all out of engine along wit alternator is gone...i taped the trunk slot so the lock would not engage...but someone leaned against my trunk and now i can't get into my trunk because there is no way to put power to it...so long story short i can't get into my trunk because i have no way to power trunk

anyone and everyone's suggestions will be taken

so no one has any sujestions on how to get into a trunk with no power?

Momentarily put 12VDC from a battery to the wires leading to the trunk latch switch. That should pop the latch. They probably run under the back seat.

tyvm...this is y i knew it'd be a great idea to get on a forum before i started taking my car apart...i'll let you know how that works out

I've never tried this myself, so it might be best to first check wiring diagram and trunk latch motor voltages. BOL.
