I have an ACT 6-puck clutch with extreme pressure plate. The clutch was ordered for a KA motor. The TOB does not even look close to being the same as what is in the CA. All my pressure plate bolt holes are about a 1/16 of an inch to far away from the center of the pressure plate. And I know that when you put it all together, it shouldn't sit right against the flywheel so it grabs, but mine sits about an 1/8 of an inch off the flywheel.

Does this stuff sound right to you guys?

You can make them fit by modifying the pressure plate to fit CA's flywheel or send it back and get a CA specific set up or sell it and buy a CA specific set up. Modifiying it will require a die grinder or strong enough drill, the appropiate drill bit or a steel carbide deburring tool.

just modify the one that you have. its very simple. and unless they sent you the wrong t/o bearing than it has to be the correct one as all the ka, ca-det, and sr20, trannys are the same, only the bell housing is differnt, and i think 5th gear is a lil different in one of them, maybe not though.

Maybe I'm just imagining things. How do you get the throw out bearing off of the thing its attached too. Sorry I'm not sure of the technical term for it.
