Sportmax. Buy coilovers first.

You don't need zero or negative offset to clear. 17x9 +20 is known to clear just fine.

Haha I recently picked up a set to use on the rear for drifting. 17x9 -25 They way like 36.5lbs a piece though but I didn't notice a difference between my 17x10 fn's so

the thing is I got some 5zigen fn01rc and they will not clear the stock strut and since I do not have the money to buy both coilovers and wheels now and I got new boots and the shocks are 1 year old kyb gr2 with apex coils I don't want to sell them for 300$ because even with coilovers I will still have to put a 2 inch spacer to fit my 17x9 +35 in the front of my s13

you are TARDED, 17x9 +20 has been proven THOUSANDS of times over to clear even stock suspension all around, you've been told, take the advice, get some 15mm spaces, hell even 1/2inch which equates to around 13mm and put them on then quit b****ing

i had my glasses on idiot, 17x9 +35, +15mm spacer = 17x9 +20, stop trying to act like you know what your talking about, get the corn cob outta your A**, and listen, get some 15mm spacer and call it a day, DONE

ok works for what you said but the thing you did not know is that I HAVE THE WHEELS AND I TRIED to fit them and the distance between the disc brake top and the strut is 3.5inch and the distance from where the wheel sits on the disc brake and the side of the tire is 6.5 inch so how can I with a 20mm spacer make the difference ??? there is no way I can so unless I can't read a tape mesure your supposedly thousand times proven to work is not relevent to my situation I guess

6.5inch= 165mm 3.5inch = 88mm165-88-20mm spacer = still need 57mm to mate the wheel to the disc brake surface

With a spacer as big as the one you want it seems like your wheels will stick out a lot. A 2 inch spacer is pretty big man...

that makes absolutely no sense, please try to explain that better so that someone may understand, so what your saying is that its 3.5in from your brake rotor to your strut, and its 6.5in from where to where?

if there is that much room then your wheels arent what you say they are

the distance from the disc to (black painted part where the wheel sits) from the lower part of the strut where the spring sits is 3.5 inch the the depth plane of the picture

and the distance (back spacing on the picture )

is 6.5 inches

could always go with coilovers before the wheels.

again get a 15mm spacer and youll be set, if it doesnt work ill pay for the spacers (im NOT kidding), just prove that your ish it what you say it is, wheel width and offset, there is NO way thet what your explaining is right unless something is SERIOUSLY wrong with your car

I'll see about that because even if I hold the wheel in the position to put it in place it hits the suspension strut well before 15mm distance of the studs.. anyways no hard feelings about the argument I hope I'm just prime when people call me retarded its not like I'm a complete dumbass when it comes to car building as its displayed in my rebuild thread... with in mind that I am no mechanic nor an auto body specialist...

about the ride comfort there is a world between lowered 240 on sport springs and coilovers... whatever the coilovers and since I'm not going to drift every week-end the small comfort that I had with the stock suspension would have been nice !
