NEED Help... 2005 Trans Filter Change

For the most part installed the filter, but, this last bolt is not catching.

Researched here, Nissanhelp, and ehow.com.

Closest thing here pertains to a '94 but no replies.

On nissanhelp same issue with an '06 and talks about removing valve body.

On ehow, in step# 4, it states to remove and inspect control valve body. How does one go about that??? Is it relatively easy to accomplish???

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!! I know my profile states '01 Pathfinder, but, this issue is with my wife's car.
