My 2002 Nissan xterra stalled while driving and would not start back up. I initially thought this was due to a bad fuel pump as i could not hear the pump coming on. I changed the fuel pump, filter, and sending unit, but still wont start. Checked spark plugs and found them dirty so installed new ones, but still no start. Used engine starter fluid and it started and ran for about 10 seconds before it stalled and died. I believe the problem may be in the distributer since the car started with starter fluid makes me think the coil is bad and is giving weak spark to plugs. Is there anyway i can test this theory without replacing distributor or is there anything else i should check. Any help is much appreciated
