NEED HELP: 2000 Quest A/C issues

Need help form you A/C Guru's!!!!

I have a 2000 Nissan Quest: Rear AC was blowing somewhat cool, but not at front AC. Compressor clutch kicking off and on erratically....I added one 16oz can of R134 to the system, as well as some dye, just to see if I could find a leak.

Hooked up Manifold gauges to check to see if / how long it takes to leak down, or if it would leak down... It leaked down after 10-12 minutes.. While waiting and with engine running, i touched all of the lines, low and high pressure sides, and ALL of the lines were Extremely HOT!!!

No AC front or rear, found a leak, but now wondering::::

Why were ALL of the low and high side lines extremely hot to the touch?

I know I have to change possibly an o-ring and seal at one fitting, but suspect a major blockage.

Not sure where to start on this... Any and all suggestions welcome!!!! Thanks
