Need Help 1998 Maxima GXE

man i was driving this morning to work and all of a sudden i got some gust of cold wind.. my HEATER went out.. i have never really messed with the heating and cooling system on the max.. so im not sure where to start?

i have air.. but its cold.. the A.C works, but not sure since its really cold out here .. but im assuming that the compressor would be good and the a.c is still functional!

Any ideas of what i can diags would be golden!!

I've never had a problem like this, but it sounds like the blend door linkage became disconnected, or the motor went out.

All these controls should be behind the glovebox attached to the heater box.
