Need Help - 1996 Nissan 240SX Engine Light on Trouble Code P1445

I have a 1996 Nissan 240SX. The Engine Light is on and the read Trouble Code is P1445 which indicats 'Purge Volume Control Valve'.

I want to know what part triggers this problem - is EGA Valve or Purge Valve? And what is the original Nissan name for this part?

pull the line of the purge valve under the hood and see if charcoal is in the line, if so you need to replace the canister and clean the lines out. you will likely need the purge volume control valve as well.
