I remember seeing somewhere that if any of the grounds are left out, the car won't start. I dont know how many grounding points there are, but maybe you could trace those. :gotme

There sound be 2 ground on the back of the plenum (both attach with 10mm bolts), one big ground on the trans bellhousing bolt, one ground from the battery right to the firewall, and then I believe one on either side of the bay grounding to the frame rails (also with 10mm bolts) from the harness. I could have missed a few, its been a while.

Also, if yours is an auto trans make sure its in park. I know, its stupid, but I've done it.

Are you battery cables good? any breaks in the wire or bad connections or corrosion buildup? Check the main fuses in the black fuse box near the battery and make sure you didn't blow any.

t.....jr listed all the engine grounds. Just installed my engine twice a few months back.

THe bell housing ground is a heavy gauge one, because I think the starter taps into that path for power.

There is also a white 10 gauge wire at the battery(+) to the starter solenoid. Check if that is connected also.

Got another question though the wire from the battery to the sylenoid does it come from positive side and go to the other terminal that the positive side is not hooked to?
