need help 07 sentra oem radio

I have an 07 sentra and they radio is not working. Here's what's going on the radio is on but not on. The display screen show it as being on but there's no sound nor can I change the station. None of the buttons work, but it will take a cd and ejected it.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the theaft system on the car, I've been hearing around that the sentra is known for this. Is this true? And if so does any one know the code to get the radio working again or will I have to take a trip to the dealer?
