NEED HEAT BADLY...any advice??

hey guys my heat doesnt seem to work the vents just blow cold air from out side, i dont have ac so i know thats not the problem, and the control unit doesnt cange the air flowlike it allways comes out of the dash vents above the cd player no matter whatr buttons i press. i have hot water goin to the heater core (i can feel the lines heat up even coming from the firewall) and way i could permanantely make the vents draw from the heater core? i dont need ac...amnd when i need fresh air, open the windows.any help appreciated Dane

Does you heater valve work? Push button or side control are normally vacum controled. It is a little check valve on the fire wall with two heater hoses going to it

yeah the check valve is open...but i had to manually open it, so i think the control box with the buttons on it is broken, does anyone know how you could check the box?thanks Dane

what year? i will lock up the wiring diagram. in the meantime, why dont you pull the glovebox and see if you can turn the doors by hand?
