Can someone recommend a good mechanic in the scottsdale/phoenix area?? I have taken my car to euro imports, and while they seem to do good service, I am never sure who is working on my car. They completly missed the fact, my entire breaking system needed to be fixed. I know they have good mechanics, and their prices are great, but I would rather just take it to same person every time, someone I can trust and know personally. Any recommendations would be great, thanks. You can email me at [email protected] or post here.

I'm getting tired of these constant breakdowns, my car is my job, and this is costing me. I really need someone I can trust to get it going right. Thanks again..

Sounds like you need to develop a relationship with the tech that's working on the car. Sometimes it helps to leave the car for a few days with a longer list of stuff to be done. If you keep going for little stuff most shops just assign the work to whichever tech is available for a short period of time.

I haven't been to this guy in years, but a very smart Mechanic...worked on my old Z and always had Rick Smart working on the car. Since I left Phoenix 10 years ago and he's still in business says something:

Lloyd Smart's Garage2002 N 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009 Phone: (602) 272-3128

Scottsdale Infiniti, do a search on this site. They also advertise here...Infinitipartsusa.com Absolutely the best prices worldwide. Wonderful comments from eveyone on this site. I gotta believe with their parts prices you could not go wrong with service there. And all comments about service have been great that I have read. I would not be going to an independent if I lived there. Now if you lived in Atlanta my advice would be T3.

We have good tech's but the prices are a little heavy in the Service Dept.. I can honor the parts prices (NICO member) if you do bring it in, just tell the Service Advisor that Joe gave the blessing :)

My suggestion would be, since most other places won't give you a warranty on work if you use parts ordered from Joe (mine does :)) then I would get the tech-related stuff (e.g. engine things) done at Scottsdale and find somewhere else for general stuff (e.g. oil changes, transmission flushes, shocks, etc)
