I have just successfully completed the game using only nissans, starting with the 240sx s13 then the 370z followed by the r34 skyline and lastly the 2008 Skyline Gt-r such a nerd lolz

Is the game more fun, replayable, worthwhile than Grid?

well it was a good storyline interesting play, but re-playable you can do all the races you haven't after career, there is about 50+ for me, the online mode lacks as you can host a race people will join but no free roam also vinyls are disabled online, i haven't played grid so i can't really compare but ill rate the game:

Career: 9/10Online: 6/10I got it on Christmas pretty much played it all day and quite a bit yesterday and today so it is fairly long.Anything else you want to know?

So no free roam? But a good selection of tracks? Race types? But you can invite friends right? Grid lacks that to my knowledge with the invite........But a 6/10 for online is your final verdict?

im pretty sure you can race any sprint or circuit from career, they also have a mode called cops and robbers, on person is the cop to tries to stop the other guy from getting the money and taking it to home base, those are the only types. You can invite to games from the dashboard i joined a friends game. I would say 6/10 is final because i love free roam especially after playing midnight club

No free roam online, the career map is huge with the option of driving to races or starting them from GPS map. i think the race types are circuit, sprint, outrun, and something that involves crashing to take out cars (lame). they completely did away with the drifting events as far as i can tell (@38% completion, still no drift races). I downloaded the demo of grid for free from PSN store and it f$kin rocks the balls off NFSUC, with just the demo alone. dope cars and a good realistic-ish driving game engine.

somehow I ended up with 3 copies of NFSUC after xmas.... Ill keep one and trade the others for Gran Turismo 5 prologue and Grid, respectively.

Im with ya, the game seems pretty legit as the demo has 3 modes, Americam muscle, drift, and euro something. the muscle race is in a newer mustang, the drift race is actually team orange (you) Vs Top secret, both S15s (not tandem tho), and the euro race is M3s.... Im really thinkin this game might be the win.... Ill post back when the 3 titles are in hand....

oh ya, hit me up on PSN = APEamongUS....

I had GRID for about a week from Gamefly and it was very enjoyable. Drifting was damn hard at first. And 24 Hours at LeMans was just ARGH! most of the time (17 minute long race), but nothing beats driving around in a Pagani I haven't tried NFS yet, but the past....lot of NFS games have been real crap, so it's pretty low on my Gamefly priority right now.
