hellz yeah. looks great. hopefully not too realistic like gran turismo or forza. if im going to play a racing game, i want to have fun. when the **** gets too realistic, i get frustrated.

also, the new nissan gtr proto is in it.

REVIVE!!!!I decided to revive this dead thread well, because, this game is going to freaking OWN.For all you drifting fans out there, look at the recent vid on Gamespot.comThey go to Formula D events, and actually are paying attention this time!No more cheap moves that worked in NFSU2, now they're going for realism, and my god does it look sexy. Also, the recent pic they have up of a 240sx is awesome to say the least.Check it.

This game looks like fun stuff, a lot better than previous need for speed games. I prefer the realism over arcadey stuff.

The drifting finally looks like drifting. The damage models need some work in my opinion, but for now they're ok.

Not quite sure I agree with the steering angle, but CDRLs FTW!

I wonder how the driving physics will be, hopefully more realistic than previous NFS's. NFS has turned into the rice of the racing-game market. If only LFS had these graphics capabilites and car licenses, that'd be swell.

NFS has been a bit ricey in their past few games, I'm hoping Pro Street can bring a bit more realism into the series--especially better drifting. On a side note, I've heard the S15 is going to be included on the car list--I'm more excited about that than the GT-R proto.

Haven't really been a fan of all the EA NFS games as of late, but I must say Prostreet looks pretty cool. Will see when it comes out.

They should atleast make it so in the drifting mode, it wont automatically countersteer for you. And you shouldnt be able to do it in FWD cars either, like in the 2nd underground game.

Or they could also have two physics modes; Simulation, and arcade. Simulation should be harder, but more rewarding (more money for winning races, special things avaliable, etc.)

I just hope the drifting physics and the racing physics aren't two seperate things like in every other "underground" type need for speed game.

the demos up on the xbox live market place, i have mixed opinions about it right now. It has that feature like in forza where the line goes red if you should break around the turn. I hope the actual game is alot better, but then again the demo only has two race types.

I'm not liking it so far. I DL'd the demo and tried the desert speed challenge but couldn't even finish the goddamn thing without smacking into a telephone pole. And each time I did, I got to stand there and wait the hour it takes for the car to settle and the game to tell me I totaled.

Brother picked it up, didn't like it at first but it's pretty cool now. Still can't wait for the next GT to come out though.
