i loved need for speed way back when hot pursuit 2 and underground came out. underground 2 was ok but after that it just went way downhill after that but pro street was pretty good. the new need for speed coming out looks like it is all about the story line.

then with midnight club, the first one sucked, the second one was awesome, the third one (dub edition) are you kidding me, i owned the game for less than a week because it sucked too much. but i have LA and i must say is awesome. i love it.

so overall they both had their hit and misses. there both good games.

Midnight Club 2 owns NFS: UC

After Need for Speed: Most Wanted, they all went down hill very very quickly. In my book from Most Wanted to Carbon it was 9/10 to 3/10.

Midnight club is better in every aspect.Graphics : MCLAStory? : MCLACustomization : MCLA Actual Racing : Apart from the difficulty MCLA still owns

Need For Speed Underground is shallow and almost feels unfinished.

I say Need For Speed FTW. Pro Street is pretty good.

Midnight Club is too ghettofied for me. I mean, 24" spinners on a Civic?!?!?!? This isn't Rap City from BET. How lame.

But if you want a real racing game, then I say play Initial D.

I heard today that EA is no longer gonna make any more need for speed games. So it looks like most wanted was the last one.

I bought Midnight Club Los Angeles after reading this post. Then I bought Need For Speed Undercover b/c I was bored with Midnight Club. It's wayyyyy better than Midnight Club in my opinon. Much more fun. The only thing Midnight club has on NFS is the motorcycles. NFS Carbon and Underground sucked but they redeemed themselves with NFS Undercover and it makes up for those 2 crappers.

need for speed is more fun. I Never Like the MC games, only good thing i liked was the mods, lights, colors, rims, etc. If your want a little more bang for your buck go with NFS but id try get it cheaper cause it was not worth the 60.

I actually miss the old Need for Speed games (pre-Underground).

I never got into anything later than that. Played a few (Underground, Underground 2, etc.), wasn't all that impressed.

I wish EA would release another one with the same formula they used back in the day. That can't be asking for too much.
