PLEASE help me!
my wife drives a 98 caravan. The latch in the rear door is stuck "locked".She said she opened the door and went to close it and that is what happened.Any ideas? I poped the cover off of the hatch and couldnt see anything wrong.. or any release levers or anything like that..Pulled on the latch.. pressed on the latch.. PRYed against the latch.. nothing.
Any ideas?????? I cant leave it open over night in my neiborhood...
need extremely fast response!!

The latch on the door of my 240sx was closed before I could close the door. However as soon as I pulled on the handle the latch released. Think about it that SHOULD happen if you want to open the door.
I say she slammed it so hard that the latch is stuck now and cant get it loose even when you pull on the door handle
