Okay, so I'm new to the forum here and to cars in general. I've been learning on the fly, Googling as I go, trying to keep Maisie (my battered little 720) running. I've been able to find lots of information about nearly everything to do with my truck, with the exception being the ECM. Mine recently stopped working, which wrought havoc on the carb. In fact, that was my major motivation for getting a Weber carburetor...no computer control. The ECM's not even hooked up right now. With my vacuum system gone except for the advance to the dizzy, is there anything the computer controls besides the intake coil? And would running both coils have a negative impact on operation or fuel economy?
