Well I own some old school BBS RS rims (discounted in 95) and damaged one several days ago. The lip is bend. I spoke with BBS America and they themselfs dont even have any in stock.

Does anyone know where I could get maybe some aftermarket lips? They have 34 rivet bolts and lips are about 1". I am open to getting 2 wider lips and use them on the rear.

I attached a pic.

Thanks guys

thats not just the lip bolted on, its the face of the wheel bolted on to the rim (barrel)

youd need to get an entirely new barrel for your face, custom wheel companies make barrels...but youd probably end up changing all 4 if they cant match the BBS barrel

you could attempt a wheel repair place, googling wheel repair, fix, or something along those lines gives results.

I dont fully understand... the rims are 3 peice. the face of the wheel (the mesh) and the "barrel" are ok. I had already taken off all lips when I got them to refinish them... thanks

Valley - I might have to, good news is there is an awesome repair shop here that works on very expensive wheels for a good price. I'm just not sure since the lip itself has "stress" lines

oh oh oh, i thought you were saying the lip was part of the barrel, i didnt know they were 3 piece

in that case id say try a wheel repair place, theyll be able to tell you if theyre salvageable or not...hopefully they know their stuff well enough that they make the right call too

Kodiak would prolly make a wheel barrel for that.

Other than that, rolled steel shouldnt be too hard to fix.

Huh? Supposing you got a full set of 18x15.5s it looks like 2400$

400$ is for a full 16in wheel.

Get wider hoops.

I doubt they have the same lip style as BBS so you might was well upsize all 4.

heh, kodiaks must be far less expensive than fikse's than

just for kicks i got a quote for a set of 17x9 and 17x10 fikse profils, it was going to be like $3,800

i was thinking all custom wheels were going to be the same price, guess not, now that you mention it i have heard of kodiaks going for 2k - 2,500

one of these days...

Fiskes are for old balls losers that are smart enough to know that half of the racetracks in America don't allow HREs.

i just saw them used on many racecars and wondered how much they cost for a set, i knew theyd be expensive, but i *never* thought theyd be twice as much as most anything else

actually i just looked it up, CCW has prices closer to kodiak

more than likely thought ill end up with a set of volks or works
