What is the deal on wood-veneer 3m tape mounted dash kits?

Is the quality good enough for a show car (i.e. looks original), or is it going to look slightly rough, close up? Exposed edges, tiny gaps etc?

Anybody fitted a kit would like to say how happy they are on a scale of 0% to 100%? Recommendations?

Wondering if I can get away with this on a show car, or if I need to spend an arm and a leg on bespoke solid replacements - which I will if I must.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Check with the guys in my signature and see if they have an oem kit available. I know they've had some before.

Seems they do not.

I'm really looking for an opinion on quality, not a source, but thanks anyway.

We saw this at SEMA. It's top quality stuff. How good it looks depends on who installs it.
