Hi!

As you can see, im an exeption...when everybody wants to bypass it , I need it to plate it.
I got a 1992 240sx Super Hicas fastback and i can start the car without pressing the clutch...and i need it for the inspection.

However, I checked the switch and its fine , and the wires are not connected together.

So, any ideas? Interlock relay... or else?

Thanks.

Have you adjusted the switch? If the switch itself works then it's either out of adjustment or you have wiring disconnected somewhere.

if you bought this car from someone else..they may have bypassed it ither by cutting and jumping the wires by the main fuse box under your hood on the passenger side...or by adding a switch somewhere...its a common delete for some...good luck
