i just bought a 93 240 with black top sr20det, battery in back seat. i apologize for the long story, but i want you to know how it all went down!! i bought it last weekend and when i got home i found a leaking cooling hose off the water pump, so i parked the car for a week and didnt touch it, i started it today to drive in my shed(started fine), 2 hours later i had the hose replaced, and was going to start the car, but it just clicked, wtf so i checked the battery connections they were loose, tightend them, still clicked, wtf, well i remember bumping some wires when changing the hose so i looked and found i accidentally pulled the wire off the starter, put it on and it turned over for a milisecond and then clicked WTF, so i brought my truck over and jumped it, started up. ok so i went to drive it around to let it charge, initially it said (on my turbo timer batt display) 13v so i drove around, i had my lights wipers and fan on and went to auto store, left it running, came out 2 min later and saw that it was at 11v, so i shut the lights wipers and fan off, it went to 12v, then i drove around some more and in a matter of 10 min it dropped to 9v by the time i got home. and thats THE END. is it my alternator?
Any ideas would help, im new to the tuner world! and nissans
