Hey Guys,

My budget is getting tighter (especially with my fuel economy dropping 3-4 MPG with the cold weather). I need to sell the G soon so I can buy a more family/economical car.

Anybody have suggestions as to how to accomplish this?

I have ads up on Craigslist, Oodle (via Myspace and Facebook), on NICO, and Autotrader. I also occasionally put a sign in the rear window.

Don't know if you guys have kijiji but it's really popular in Canada...

If you can get a decent trade value I'd just do that - especially if it's a time sensitive thing...

We have Kijiji. It's worthless out here. Kind of sad because I was hoping for a good CL replacement.

Trade-in value is pathetic. Around $12k. I owe $15,800. I'm not going to eat 3,800 so that some dealership can detail my car and sell it for $18k.

Kijiji is awesome here. Anyways try craigslist as Rich suggested with update it 2 times a week.

Hope you'll have luck sell it. So are you buying a used Subie?

talk to the dealers first and ask how much you could give it to you, them match it on offers you get by selling to the peeps...especially now that dealers are having hard time selling cars, you might get a good deal...just be patient on them,

the trick we used is get as much as money you could get on your own car before you guys talk about the car you getting as soon as you get the price trade in value them move on to the price you're about to pay to them, coz normally they mixed it already and its hard to make the formula, means they make a lot of money for their self...goodluck, also get the car cleaned up and wax , spend alteast 50 buckz on car wash before y ou go dealers , it helps to raised price value...take care my friend....

Not the right time of year to sell...but I'd say just be patient.
