I have an 05 Altima 2.5SL with only 56,000 miles, and the mechanic showed me a cracked, and leaking (?) top right mount during a safety inspection. First I ever heard of oil filled mounts, and they wanted $300 for a 20 minute part change. So I got a MM from Advance for $60 less, and installed it, and took it back so it could pass inspection. So now that I know that they put POS oil filled MMs on these cars, where can I get solid rubber mounts to replace them. I dont see anything on Energy Suspension, and Nissan doesnt offer any upgrades.

http://www.racinglineperformance.com They sell motor mount inserts which make it pretty solid. They have them for the front and rear. If you have an automatic you will get some vibration at idle but well worth it. I must say it almost completely eliminated my engine movement on acceleration

I agree with midnite2.5s I got em from racingline and its well worth dealing with some vibration in cabin and for the price, you can feel the difference and feel the power to the wheels.

I've got a 2005 2.5 and it locked up the torque converter (3 mechanics told me they had never seen that happen before and I live in middle Tennessee where they're made, so lots of them here) long story short in the process of getting it moving with the converter locked up I wound up breaking half of the motor mounts but I got some amazon cheapies and they work just fine

I have a 2005 altima withy 185K and I just had the motor mouts changed. The old ones were solid (metal with rubber coverings) not sure if some are oil filled, I only asked to have the broken one returned to me.
