Have a late 97, which has 98 up style motor, ALtima
Found a 38000 mile late 95 early 96 replacement motor. Looks awesome and great deal on it.
I notice some coolant lines are routed differently on the earlier motor.My 98 had two rubber hoses going the thremostat housing that routed back to other side of motor under intake. Then a metal line under intake that hooked up to heater hose.My new motor has a close set up, but looks like more smaller lines (metal) teeing off the lines that were rubber on original motor.It has metal line in back to hook to heat hose, but I am left with one heater hose on firewall I cant find a place for , and one heater hose (rubber) coming off new motor, prebent , to go to forward drivers side area in engine bay.
Extremely vauge and confusing the way I am describing I know, but I need info from anyone who did a motor swap. I dont wish to pull intake if I can avoid it. I heard this new motor run and its dead perfect. I know my front oxygen sensor will need swapping, but can someone please walk me through this?
